Top 10 Most Anticipated Games of 2018

With 2017 wrapping up, it's time to take a look at the biggest upcoming movies of 2018 or well the ones that look the most interesting. The films hopefully showcase a wide variety of movies with some surprises thrown in there. A number of them are exciting sequels whereas some originals are present as well. I took care to not include some of the bigger ones that really don't seem that appealing at the current moment, but we'll probably view anyways. With that, here are the top 10 most anticipated movies of 2018.

#10: Aquaman

This is more in the realms of being a curious release. It's an interesting standalone in a very troubled universe. I'm not sure how well this will do or how good it will be, but they have the right cast for it and a character that's not really known to the general audience. It could be a decent tide turner for DC or another in a list of disappointments.

#9: Black Panther

The last film prior to Infinity War, it looks great and a very different sort of Marvel film. These MCU releases are always good so I'm sure it will deliver. I'm just not sure how big of an impact it will have on the timeline or if it'll be a truly intriguing new hero in the universe. Time will tell.

#8: Ant-Man and the Wasp

I really enjoyed the original Ant-Man as it was a fun heist film and seeing him in full combination with the Wasp will definitely be exciting. She was a big part of the first film, yet not really battle ready there. I'm not sure what sort of story this will follow, but since it's just post Infinity War it could perhaps show a very different sort of Marvel universe.

Ready Player One Tracer

#7: Alita: Battle Angel

This has more recently been on my radar, as the first big trailer for it was really interesting. It's got such a distinct look for the main character and the setting of world it presents is really intriguing. I'm not too sure what's going to be happening in the story as I'm not familiar with the lore so it should be a treat.

#6: Deadpool 2

Deadpool returns for what should be another hilarious and action packed look at breaking every wall. The character was a lot of fun the first time around, definitely showcased the mature hero genre and was memorable. They seem to be doing everything right marketing wise so I'm sure this won't disappoint.

#5: Mission Impossible

The Mission Impossible films are always fun, exciting and seem to be getting better with every entry. There's definitely no fatigue for this series and I'm eager to see what wild stunts get pulled off in this one. I'm not sure where they're going to go with the story, but I suppose that it really doesn't matter in comparison to the action.

Marvel's Infinity War Stark and Banner

#4: Ready Player One

While this might seem like just a collection of cameos, which it most definitely is. I'm excited for that as it will just be rows of wow, look there's that character. Other points will be just amazement at so many properties coming together and hopefully there's an exciting story to back it all.

#3: The Incredibles 2

It's been a long time coming, one of the best hero films and a top of Pixar's most desired sequel list is finally releasing. It's apparently starting right from the ending of the original and should be an interesting continuation considering how long everyone has been waiting for it.

#2: Isle of Dogs

Anything Wes Anderson does is amazing, Isle of Dogs looks simply stunning with its unique stop motion style mixed with a large ensemble. All that aside it appears to have a charming story about a boy that's just looking for his dog in a pile of garbage.

#1: Avengers: Infinity War

The greatest ensemble ever and the focal point of what the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards should be epic. It's going to be a great wonder how they'll balance so many heroes at once. That mixed with the combination of the Infinity Stones should be an insane showcase of power and amazement as all the top tier characters in the roster battle together.
